Our newest version eliminates any external lines to feed the pressure pulses to the membrane. By bolting the pump directly to the engine housing higher pump efficiencies and higher reliability is achieved. The housing is from durable aluminum. With our design improvements, even the most tuned versions of the Zenoah engines with clutches are kept comfortably cool. This waterpump operates from the pressure pulses generated by the piston. Feeds of the existing pressure tap from Zenoah and Zenoah-based engines. As with all waterpump installations with Zenoah engines, this pre-threaded pressure tab needs to be drilled out. Care should be taken all metal chips are removed before engine operation. A water pump is a must for engines with clutches where even the most effective water pickups such as our m-1791 and 1791/D cannot supply water when the the boat is stationary. |
